Hi Danila,
I just wanted to say thanks for taking Gregoire and I
on such a great tour of the museum, convent, and
boat tour. You were exactly what I was looking for - someone
who knew the historical and political
context in Moscow. That day was the highlight of my trip.
I tried to call you from a Metro station a
couple days later to go with me to the Russian History museum but I couldn't
get through for some reason.
I will always be
thankful for your role in my trip to Moscow.
Best,
Vic Edgerton
Dear Daniil,
Two years ago, my wife Gail and I were thrilled to
have you as our guide in Moscow. We saw Lenin's
tomb and a nearby museum as well as some other sites.
It was a great day and we really enjoyed meeting
you. Well, it turns out we are coming back to Moscow!

My wife and I toured Moscow, and then Vladimir/Suzdal with Daniel Petrov in July 2010. He was very accommodating. The most important thing about working with Daniel is that he listened to what we were interested in, and made it happen. He was NOT determined to show us a fixed route.
In Moscow, he took us around on the subway -- which can be faster and is certainly less expensive than a taxi or private car. In the process, we saw some of the great subway stations.
In Vladimir/Suzdal, he arranged the hotel, walked us around, helped us order dinner in a restaurant where no one spoke English, and so forth.
He's a good guy, you can Skype him before you arrive to make arrangements, and he'll help you navigate the ATM's, taxis (at a rasonable price), and trains. Contact him at danpetrov74@gmail.com, or www.waytomoscow.com.
