Itinerary

First we’ll drive around the city center and look at beautiful Pashkov House, Russian state library the largest in the country and one of the largest in the world, we'll look at Moscow state university(19 cent building), we’ll pass by the Russian parlament and the famous Bolshoy theater, the notorious KGB building, and the fragments of Kitay gorod city wall the second medieval line of defense which partially survived Stalin’s time. We will make a stop in Red Square to look at St. Basil Cathedral, Lenin’s mausoleum, and GUM.

We will look at the panorama of the Kremlin from beyond the Moscow river, and talk about turbulent history of the fortress. Then I'll show you a striking sculptural composition by Mihail Shemiakin in Bolotnaya square after that we'll visit Christ the Saviour Cathedral - the largest Moscow cathedral we'll make a stop in front of the Soviet space shuttle Buran("snowstorm" or "blizzard"), it was lounched on 15 November 1988 and orbited the Earth twice in 206 minutes of flight. Then we'll look at the Novodevichy convent- the most beautiful Moscow nunnery .
We'll see another University building one of the 7th Stalin's skyscrapers and the highest of all of them on the Sparrow hills, then we'll pass by the World War II memorial complex "Poklonnaya Gora"(we can get off there if you want), the White House - the building of Russian government and the New Arbat street.

A river boat tour down the Moscow river and visit to the Novospassky monastery ( from May to October)1,5 hours
At first we'll visit the Novospassky monastery that is situated next-door to the pier from which the river boat departs. It runs every 20 minutes so we can take our time in the monastery. Then we'll get on the boat and in 1 hour get off near Moscow State University. And finally we'll take the ski-lift to get to the observation point. So the tour highlights are: The Novospassky monastery, The Panorama of the Moscow Kremlin, the "Krasniye holmy" cultural centre, Cathedral of Christ the Redeemer , the statue of Piter the Grate, the Gorky park, the Andreevsky monastery, the two Staln's skyscrapers - the Moscow State University building and the apartment house on Kotelnicheskaya emankment, the observation point on the Vorobiovy gory.
